Where We Stand

This passed weekend was a busy one here at Zimbo Films in terms of pre-production.  I have met with the lead actress of our upcoming film, Sophie & Martin’s Day In The Sun, as well as recording the soundtrack to How Is One To Live? (scheduled to shoot this Easter weekend) with Mac Kennedy and Miss Allen.  Caroline Boyd is simultaneously just as busy managing the festival release of our previous film The Little White Bird.  In addition to that, discussions have begun about the costumes for another Zimbo film The Murder Of The Tsarevich Ivan Ivanovich, which is to be an operetta along the lines of Hans Jurgen-Syberberg’s early films.  Casting for that same film is also underway.  So look for more Zimbo productions at festivals this year, cause we’re churning them out like hot cakes!  Finally I’d like to thank the following people for giving up hearty portions of their weekends to either meet or work with me: Charlette Hove, Rachel Kaiser, Mac Kennedy, Tabitha Allen, Susanne Collins; thank you.
